Dialing into Crisis Management

View here: Interactive Dials #453

My first challenge with Course Heroes was an exhilarating experience, as I embraced the theme of interactive dials and knobs to craft a unique learning journey. Inspired by the concept of television news segments, I transformed the traditional course format into an engaging exploration of crisis management's five stages. Through the lens of a TV viewer, learners could 'turn the channel' to witness each stage unfold, fostering an immersive and dynamic learning environment. This project not only allowed me to experiment with innovative design elements but also sparked my creativity and passion for course development. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this challenge and for the inspiration it has provided me with. Looking forward to many more exciting ventures with Course Heroes!

Three Variables and a Chicken

For my second submission to Course Hero's weekly challenge, I utilized text variables for the learner's name, number variables to calculate totals, and true/false variables for branching scenarios. While this project was a delightful departure from the norm, I'm eager to apply these newfound skills to more serious topics in the future.

Tools employed included Storyline, Vyond GIFs and AI-generated images.

Push Vs. Pull

In this week's eLearning challenge, I explored the concept of push and pull strategies in instructional design. The challenge delved into the differences between push (providing information directly to learners) and pull (creating opportunities for learners to seek out information) approaches. In this example, I created an example of an  eLearning experience that exemplified both push and pull strategies. The examples included required videos vs voluntary surveys built in Storyline 360.
